Knowledge Manager

M9 Solutions is seeking a Knowledge Manager to work on-site in support of a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active TS/SCI clearance is required. The Knowledge Manager will manage and improve data-related knowledge repositories, enhance information discoverability, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing across divisions.

Requirements

• Manages and improves data-related knowledge repositories
• Improves information discoverability and fosters a culture of knowledge sharing
• Collaborates with Chief Data Officer, data stewards, and technical teams
• Identifies, creates, updates, and maintains knowledge repositories
• Contributes to data acumen and literacy initiatives
• Works with system owners, data stewards, and technical teams to populate and enrich the enterprise data catalog
• Supports data catalog adoption
• Serves as a liaison between users and data/information sharing teams
• Supports working groups, community of practices meetings, and knowledge sharing sessions
• Develops and delivers materials to support user understanding of strategic data initiatives
• Monitors and reports on usage metrics of the data catalog and information sharing requests
• Identifies gaps in data documentation and catalog metadata quality and proposes actions to close them
• Contributes to knowledge management deliverables for enterprise data projects
• Creates and maintains repositories for solutions and best practices
• Implements and curates a data standards/data model repository
• Provides strategic guidance and thought leadership on KM practices
• Develops an understanding of the needs and requirements of information end-users
• Monitors and reports the usage of knowledge management assets and resources
• Plans and manages the delivery of knowledge management projects
