Technician - Rental Services

The Technician - Rental Services position involves performing mechanical services on equipment for the Service Department at job sites or in the shop, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The position requires a high school education or equivalent with a technical background, 3 years of mechanical experience, and good decision-making, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent with a technical background
• 3 years of mechanical experience with heavy equipment
• Knowledge of hydraulics, powertrain, electronic/electrical systems
• Moderate computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office
• Good customer service skills, basic prospecting skills, and ability to meet customer expectations
• Good listening and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of safety rules, laws, and regulations concerning engine service, hydraulics, electrical, technical functions of various components, and tooling procedures and capabilities
• Ability to work with little supervision and achieve required goals and objectives
• Ability to work overtime and weekends
• Ability to uphold professionalism with both internal and external customers
