The Registered Nurse (RN) role is an integral member of the multidisciplinary health care team that meets the diverse needs of patients using contemporary professional best practice standards. As a Registered Nurse on Ward 3E Neurosciences, you will deliver high-quality, holistic nursing care to patients with a range of neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions or restrictions.
- Minimum classification at Registered Nurse Level 3 or above, with substantial acute care nursing experience.
- Demonstrated experience in neurosciences, neurosurgical or a related acute specialty area (highly desirable).
- Proven ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments, including neurological observations, and to recognise and respond to deteriorating patients.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
