Registered Nurse (Theatre - Cardiac & Vascular)

A full-time, permanent Registered Nurse position is available in the Theatre department at Macquarie University Hospital. The successful candidate will support cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries as a scrub/scout nurse, playing an essential part in ensuring procedures are conducted smoothly and safely. Requirements

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
• Minimum one year of experience as a scrub and/or scout nurse in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
• Well-developed computer skills
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage competing demands in a fast-paced surgical environment
