The School of Psychological Sciences at Macquarie University is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Psychology to teach and lead in the Undergraduate Mental Health and Counselling Major. The successful candidate will have a tertiary and/or professional qualifications in mental health counselling and/or psychology, with experience in educational technology, blended learning, and educational innovation.
Requirements
- tertiary and/or professional qualifications in mental health counselling and/or psychology
- experience with or a willingness to embrace educational technology, blended learning and educational innovation
- demonstrated applied mental health counselling knowledge and skills
- demonstrated skills to design units with innovation in pedagogy including curriculum development and assessments in higher education in counselling units, or professional practice in counselling
- demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to relate to build an inclusive teaching and learning environment and work effectively in a team environment
