General Accountant

Magellan Aerospace has a great opportunity for a General Accountant to support the monthly close process, ensure the accuracy of financial transactions, and contribute to cash flow reporting, budget preparation, and financial analysis in a deadline-driven aerospace MRO environment.

Requirements

• College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Actively pursuing a CPA designation is considered an asset.
• Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while meeting tight deadlines.
