Preschool Assistant Teacher

Magical Beginnings is seeking an experienced Preschool Assistant Teacher to join their Upper Village center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, experience leading a preschool classroom, and knowledge of child development and classroom management. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CDA, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and prior experience working in a preschool, daycare, or childcare setting. The job involves creating a safe and engaging preschool classroom environment, implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, and building positive relationships with families.

Requirements

• Must meet New York State OCFS qualifications for a Preschool Lead Teacher position in a licensed childcare center
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• CDA, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Previous experience working in a preschool, daycare, childcare, or early childhood education setting required
• Prior experience leading a preschool classroom and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum preferred
