Grand Valley Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an Infection Preventionist to develop, implement, and direct the Infection Control Program. The ideal candidate should have a license in nursing, knowledge of nursing and medical practices, and specialized training in Infection Prevention and Control.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed practical nurse or a registered nurse in good standing
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing Long Term Care
- Must possess health certificate/examination as required by State agencies
- Infection prevention and control (IPC) training must be sufficient to perform the role of the IP
- Specialized training in IPC may include care for residents with invasive medical devices, resident care equipment, and treatment such as dialysis as well as high-acuity conditions
