Infection Preventionist

The Belmont Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an Infection Preventionist to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care for our residents. The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience: Must be a licensed practical nurse or a registered nurse in good standing and meet all applicable Federal and State licensure requirements. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing Long Term Care. Must possess health certificate/examination as required by State agencies.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed practical nurse or a registered nurse in good standing and meet all applicable Federal and State licensure requirements.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing Long Term Care.
• Must possess health certificate/examination as required by State agencies.
• Must have obtained specialized PIC training beyond initial professional training or education prior to assuming the role.
