Civil Engineer (EIT)

Civil Engineer will perform civil engineering work for private and public sectors, including site development, commercial development plans, subdivisions, and roadways, utilizing Civil 3D and other applicable software programs.

Requirements

• Prepares engineering plans, design calculations, specifications, bid documents, and cost estimates
• Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems
• Performs work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision
• Completes tasks efficiently by utilizing time to complete tasks accurately, on time, and within budget
• Visits sites regularly and attends meetings with clients/contractors as needed
• Communicates with project team members, client representatives, and others as appropriate to the project
