Job Description
The Civil Engineer (EIT) will perform civil engineering work for both the private and public sectors, including site development, commercial development plans, subdivisions, and roadways. The role requires exceptional professional and communication skills in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Prepares engineering plans, design calculations, specifications, bid documents and cost estimates
- Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer
- Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer
- Visits sites regularly and attends meetings with clients/contractors as needed
- Communicates with project team members, client representatives, and others as appropriate to the project
