Job Description
The Manager - Mechanism will be responsible for examining and analyzing engineering drawings, devising development and procurement plans, preparing CIR documents, and conducting vendor analysis and rationalization exercises.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
- Over 12 years of progressive experience in automotive component development, preferably with a focus on internal combustion engine (ICE) mechanisms
- Mastery of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and experience with New Part Development Systems (MP, EP, VP, PP)
- Proficiency in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and advanced problem-solving frameworks
- Strong negotiation capabilities and experience with commercial taxation regulations and international commercial terms (Incoterms)
- Familiarity with SAP MM and other ERP systems
