The 2nd Cook assists the Kitchen Manager with daily kitchen operations, meal preparation, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment. Must have 3-5 years of food service experience, strong communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of food service experience
- Some supervisory experience
- Formal food service training strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Detail-oriented, accurate, punctual, dependable, and personable
- Ability to lead/motivate staff and volunteers
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety
- Must maintain Food Service Manager Certification
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must have a valid AZ Driver’s license with a clean driving record
