Camp Ponderosa Ranch 2nd Cook

The 2nd Cook assists the Kitchen Manager with daily kitchen operations, meal preparation, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment. Must have 3-5 years of food service experience, strong communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of food service experience
• Some supervisory experience
• Formal food service training strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Detail-oriented, accurate, punctual, dependable, and personable
• Ability to lead/motivate staff and volunteers
• Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety
• Must maintain Food Service Manager Certification
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must have a valid AZ Driver’s license with a clean driving record
