The Divisional Director of Gift Planning leads, develops, implements and coordinates all phases of the Gift Planning Program within the Division for maximum success with planned gifts generation and gift closures.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, finance or other related field.
- Demonstrated ability to close principal gift plans at the six and seven figure level.
- Comfortability with technical conversations involving financial or legal concepts.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and ability to delegate.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong public speaking skills.
- Ability to simplify complex issues and communicate these to a wide range of audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain poise under pressure.
- Ability to work with persons of varied socio-economic backgrounds.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment in an efficient and effective manner.
- Ability to present oneself in a professional manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in relation to information and documentation.
