Job Description
The Divisional Director of Gift Planning leads and coordinates the Gift Planning Program to maximize planned gift generation and gift closures. The Director is responsible for cultivating, stewarding, and soliciting planned gift donors and prospects, and recommending optimal gifting options based on their charitable goals, family needs, and financial situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, finance or other related field
- 5+ years of experience in charitable gift planning or related areas
- Ability to close principal gift plans at the six and seven figure level
- Comfortability with technical conversations involving financial or legal concepts
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and delegate
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong public speaking skills
