Job Description
The Director of Gift Planning will leverage planned giving techniques to empower the University of Nebraska Foundation to change lives and save lives. The role involves planning and implementing major and planned gift fundraising, supporting development personnel in the solicitation of planned gifts, and monitoring changes in tax and legal areas affecting planned giving.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in gift planning, finance, estate planning, insurance or related field
- Bachelor's degree; graduate degree in business, finance or law, or professional certification (e.g. CFRE or CAP) preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Strategic planning and leadership abilities
- Strong analytical skills
- Discretion in handling confidential matters
