Divisional Director of Gift Planning

The Director of Gift Planning leads, develops, implements, and coordinates all phases of the Gift Planning Program within their assigned Divisional coverage area to achieve the goals set for identifying and establishing gift commitments. The position requires a strong desire to help and impact others (donors) in achieving their philanthropic goals. The Director will maintain and build relationships with all appropriate Corps Officers and staff, as well as maintain annual stewardship for all living bequest donors within their area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, finance, or related field
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP), MBA, JD, CPA, or CSPG certification
• Proven ability to assist donors in closing gift plans at the six- and seven-figure levels
• Ability to simplify complicated concepts in writing and verbally
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM software
• Ability to travel for training, conferences, and donor face-to-face visits
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
