Job Description
The Preschool Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing activities to help children develop emotionally, physically, socially, and cognitively. The teacher must create a safe and predictable environment and maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Requirements
- Valid Child Development Associate Teacher permit issued by CTC-California Teaching Credential Association
- Valid Pediatric/Infant CPR and First Aid certificate/card
- Health screening form (LIC503) completed by a physician with TB clearance or risk assessment
- Proof of required vaccinations: Pertussis (whooping cough), MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), and influenza (flu)
- MUST pass initial and annual live scan/criminal background checks conducted by Dept of Justice (DOJ), and by The Salvation Army
Benefits
