Job Description
The Residential Specialist for the Hilo Residential program provides emergency shelter services for youth in need of out of home placement. The Specialist is responsible for the upkeep of the facility, monitoring the safety and needs of the youth, and performing other essential functions as indicated in the job description.
Requirements
- High school graduate and three years of experiences working with juveniles or at-risk youth population and/or related social service settings
- Valid Hawaii driver's license
- Valid TB clearance & Pre employment medical clearances
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- DHS FBI/Criminal History & CAN cleared
- Ability to drive a 10,000 GVW passenger van and meet and maintain requirements for a Non-CDL driving qualification file
