Job Description
The Residential Specialist for the Hilo Residential program provides Emergency shelter services for youth in need of out of home placement, and provides this service 24-7, and throughout the entire year. The Residential Specialist performs the essential functions as indicated in this job description and is supervised by the Program Manager.
Requirements
- High school graduate and three years of experiences working with juveniles or at-risk youth population and/or related social service settings;
- Valid Hawaii driver's license;
- Valid TB clearance & Pre employment medical clearances;
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- DHS FBI/Criminal History & CAN cleared
- Ability to drive a 10,000 GVW passenger van and meet and maintain requirements for a Non-CDL driving qualification file.
- Meets Salvation Army standards as an authorized driver.
