Job Description
The Residential Specialist for the Hilo Residential program provides emergency shelter services for youth in need of out-of-home placement, and is responsible for maintaining the facility, monitoring safety, and meeting the needs of the youth. The position requires a high school graduate with three years of experience working with juveniles or at-risk youth, or an associate's degree in human services and two years of experience.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Three years of experience working with juveniles or at-risk youth
- Valid Hawaii driver's license
- Valid TB clearance & Pre employment medical clearances
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- DHS FBI/Criminal History & CAN cleared
- Ability to drive a 10,000 GVW passenger van
