Cabin Leaders live with campers during their week at camp, providing supervision, leading cabin activities and devotionals, and participating in all camp programs.
Requirements
- Provide daily supervision and ensure camper health, safety, and a positive camp experience
- Encourage camper participation in all scheduled activities and programs
- Lead evening cabin devotions and plan cabin activities that support spiritual growth
- Establish and enforce cabin rules that promote safety, respect, and community
- Report maintenance needs to the Facility Manager or Maintenance Crew Chief
- Supervise assigned free-time activity areas and provide nighttime supervision
- Build relationships with campers to foster a meaningful and Christ-centered experience
- Model Christ-like behavior in conduct, service, and interactions
- Report suspected child abuse immediately to the Unit Leader
- Participate in evening and special programs
- Lead or assist with elective or emblem classes
