Job Description
The Salvation Army is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee the transportation operations, including managing a team of drivers, planning and optimizing delivery routes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and policies. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of transportation logistics, excellent leadership and customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Current valid driver's license
- Must pass TSA driver and safety training series
- Must pass background check
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train, and motivate others
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Minimum of five years light industrial, transportation, or operations' experience
- Minimum two years of verifiable supervisory experience
