Job Description
We are seeking a Peer Recovery Coach to engage with members served, provide consultation to the team, and promote Telecare's Recovery Culture. The ideal candidate will have a lived experience with mental health and addiction challenges, and a strong understanding of the public Behavioral Health system of care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Peer Certification
- California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA
- One year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members served with behavioral health challenges
- Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care
- Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training
- Valid and current driver's license
- Personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
