MDS Coordinator (RN)- 32 hour/days

Maine Veterans’ Homes is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to serving veterans and families. They are seeking a Professional Nursing position, the MDS Coordinator, to ensure accurate and timely submission of Minimum Data Sets (MDS) in the facility, managing the MDS assessment process in accordance with regulations. The organization has been recognized for quality of care and employee teamwork.

Requirements

• Experience with ICD 10 coding, and actively RAC certified
• 2-3 years of direct experience with MDS certification
• Maine RN license in good standing
• Experience with individual and group training
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, in English
