Retail Attendant (Part-Time)

The Retail Attendant for the Jackie Robinson Training Complex (JRTC) is responsible for selling JRTC merchandise at various events held at the complex. The position requires excellent verbal communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, as well as previous cash handling experience.

Requirements

• Sell JRTC merchandise at JRTC tournaments, Spring Training games, MLB events, third-party tournaments and events, and additional special events as needed
• Set up merchandise table, point of sale equipment, display items, and bins of inventory when scheduled
• Meticulously record sales during shifts to keep track of inventory sold
• Take inventory of items at the beginning and end of each shift
• Balance daily financial transactions upon completion of shift
• Welcome guests and ensure customer satisfaction through superior customer service
• Answer questions about facility amenities, services, points of interest, and current/upcoming JRTC events
• Handle and resolve any potential issues with merchandise
• Report any accidents or injuries to management staff immediately
• Other duties as assigned by Marketing Coordinator
