Requirements
- Degree or diploma in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or media-related roles.
- Bilingual in French and English (required).
- Proven ability to generate media coverage and confidently engage with media and the public.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to build relationships with journalists, internal teams, external stakeholders, and wish families.
- Experience developing communications plans, strategies, and tactics.
- Positive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- High attention to detail with strong proofreading skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office, social media platforms, Canva, Meltwater, Salesforce, and Dropbox is a plus.
- Experience supporting fundraising professionals and handling public relations or brand issues is an asset.
