Make-A-Wish Canada is a leading children's charity that grants life-changing wishes to kids with critical illnesses across Canada and beyond. Since its 1983 founding, the organization has granted over 38,600 wishes, averaging more than one wish per day, by mobilizing a national network of more than 1,100 volunteers, donors, and supporters. The wish-granting experience is deliberately integrated into each child's treatment journey, with research indicating that fulfilled wishes build both physical and emotional resilience.
