Make-A-Wish Canada is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media management and digital marketing, preferably in the nonprofit sector. This is a 14-month contract position.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in marketing, with specialized social media marketing certification(s) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management and digital marketing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Bilingual in French and English is a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Proficiency in content creation tools, graphic design software, and video editing applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and impactful messaging.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Experience with Brandwatch is an asset.
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM principles is an asset.
- A clear Criminal Background Check will be required.
