Investigative Analyst

The New York County District Attorney's Office has an opening for an Investigative Analyst for its Hate Crimes Unit. The Analyst will assist Hate Crimes ADAs in building and enhancing complex hate crime cases and investigations, and will assist with large-scale data collection, organization, and analysis.

Requirements

• Assist ADAs in developing long-term investigations into criminal bias-motivated activity
• Create visual aids for investigative use, grand jury proceedings, and trial presentations on hate crime cases
• Collect and analyze data relevant to hate crime investigations and cases
• Collaborate with the High Technology Analysis Unit and assist ADAs in interpreting and understanding forensic reports and results
• Create and maintain various in-house databases, filing, and records management systems
• Perform related responsibilities and duties, including administrative and clerical tasks, as assigned
