Dedicated Phone Installation Technician

MANTECH seeks a Dedicated Phone Installation Technician to join its team in Herndon, VA. In this role, you will support a Dedicated Support Team installing network equipment, telephones, and associated service modules. Responsibilities include performing high-quality installations and troubleshooting, dressing cabling according to industry standards, and performing surveys as necessary. Local travel is required, and you will work a shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM as part of a coverage team operating between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with 6+ years of experience
• Associates Degree with 9+ years of experience
• Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with implementation of the customers classified & unclassified LAN infrastructure
• Minimum 2 years of experience installing and troubleshooting telephone instruments and media gateways on the Sponsors classified and unclassified networks
• Experience in a variety of cabling areas including 110 type cross connections, RJ45 patch panels, wire wrap terminals, copper cable terminations, DSX Panel T-1 cabling, fiber terminations
• Excellent knowledge of various cabling methodologies, industry standards, troubleshooting techniques, and reading/understanding cable run lists
