Network Administrator

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Administrator to join our team in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Responsibilities also include implementing and maintaining essential network security measures, performing routine backups and disaster recovery procedures, and resolving network bottlenecks.

Requirements

• BA/BS in field necessary to assume Network Administrator duties or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
• 4+ years of experience with 2+ years of relevant Network Administrator experience
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their networking components
• Knowledge of network security best practices, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and firewall management
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques for performance optimization and troubleshooting
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automating network tasks
