Job Description
Mapbox is seeking a Solutions Architect III to design, prototype, and deliver solutions on their real-time location platform. This role involves collaborating with customers, partnering with account managers, and guiding them in utilizing Mapbox products to achieve business outcomes. The ideal candidate will combine technical depth with commercial acumen and thrives at the intersection of strategy, architecture, and delivery.
Requirements
- Experience in solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, or enterprise consulting.
- Fluent in Japanese and English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience with GIS, location intelligence, and geospatial data processing.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
- Experience with web and mobile technologies (JavaScript, Swift, Kotlin, Python, React Native, Flutter).
- Proven ability to translate complex requirements into scalable and robust technical architectures.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Exceptional communication skills.
