Job Description
Perform maintenance and repairs on Feed Mill production equipment, schedule and track maintenance activities, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Requirements
- Extensive working knowledge of Feed Mill production equipment and operations.
- Technical knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controllers, boilers, pumps, and plumbing.
- Familiarity with feed ingredients, grains, and feed manufacturing processes preferred.
- Working knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Operating Work Analyses (OWAs), USDA guidelines, HACCP, GMPs, and quality standards.
- Proficiency with computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and feed mill batching/operating systems.
- Knowledge of biosecurity standards and animal wellbeing guidelines.
