Mar-Bella Collection is looking for a Commis Pastry Chef to assist the Pastry Chef in preparing and baking desserts, pastries, and other baked goods, and learn new techniques to contribute to the creativity and innovation of new desserts.
Requirements
- Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing and baking desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency in quality and taste.
- Prepare ingredients and equipment for daily service, including scaling, measuring, and mixing.
- Ensure the kitchen and workstations are clean and well-maintained, following health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory control and stock rotation to maintain freshness of products.
- Learn and apply the techniques used by the Pastry Chef to contribute to the creativity and innovation of new desserts.
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
