MarketAxess is seeking a commercially driven Dealer Sales Relationship Manager to join the Dealer Sales team with a clear mandate to grow Dealer RFQ and Mid-X across the European dealer franchise. The role requires building and maintaining relationships with dealer traders, algo desks, and heads of trading, and using AI and data-driven workflows to identify opportunities, improve efficiency, and scale coverage across the dealer network.
Requirements
- Experience in fixed income markets, electronic trading, dealer sales, or a related role
- Strong understanding of dealer workflows, particularly RFQ-based trading
- Experience working with trading desks or client-facing roles in financial markets
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to drive activity and change behaviour
- Analytical capability, with comfort working with trading data and performance metrics
- Ability to translate data into clear, practical insights for clients and internal teams
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with trading desks
- Comfortable using AI tools to support daily workflow and improve output quality
- Able to structure prompts, extract useful insights, and apply them in a commercial context
- Uses AI to enhance analysis, preparation, and decision-making rather than relying solely on manual processes
- Curious and proactive in testing new tools and approaches
- Proactive and self-starting, with the ability to build momentum in a growth area
- Comfortable working across teams and navigating ambiguity
- Interested in market structure, workflow evolution, and electronic trading trends
