Consultant, Employee Health & Benefits, Private Equity Practice. Delivers strategic employee health and welfare consulting services to private equity-sponsored organizations and their portfolio companies. Provides guidance and informal mentorship to Associate Consultants. Collaborates closely with Producers, Associate Consultants, and Analysts to deliver best-in-class service.

Requirements

• Prior experience in brokerage or insurance industry with a thorough understanding of health plans, funding alternatives and the ability to think through non-traditional solutions
• Knowledge of various lines of insurance coverage; medical, dental, life, STD, LTD, design, rate structures, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to present to a range of professionals at each client
• Proficient in Health & Welfare compliance (i.e. HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, 5500, ACA, DOL, etc.)
• Life & Health Licensure or commitment to achieving within 6 months of start date
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of internal staff & management, external clients, prospects and vendors
