Insurance Broker (Business Development Focus)

We are seeking an experienced insurance broker with strong business development skills to join our Local Community Insurance Services (LCIS) team, a division of JLT Risk Solutions at Marsh. The role involves growing and servicing our portfolio of community and not-for-profit clients across Australia, working in a hybrid model with a minimum of three days per week in the office. The ideal candidate will have a genuine business development mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prospects simultaneously.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years' experience in an insurance broking, account management or similar client-facing role
• Strong knowledge of general insurance products and services
• Demonstrated experience identifying client needs and presenting tailored insurance solutions
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and networking skills
• Strong written skills, including the ability to prepare professional proposals, reports and presentations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using client/CRM or broking systems
• Willingness to undertake company-directed compliance training
• RG146 Tier 1 Insurance Broking (or Tier 1 FSRA) is preferred
