Job Description
We are seeking a Taxation Manager – Investments & Governance to lead and manage tax-related activities within the investments and governance functions at Mercer in Melbourne. The role is responsible for overseeing investment due diligence, managing tax governance processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or Masters of Law are preferred
- Strong experience in investments tax, tax advisory/compliance, or a related field, preferably within managed funds, superannuation, or financial services
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation laws and regulations related to investments and managed funds
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
