Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program by the Committee on Allied Health Education
• BLS Certified
• State licensed as a Physician Associate
• Knowledge of clinical theory, practice and medical care
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments
• Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of physician Associates
• Ability to maintain quality control standards
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
