Job Description
Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a skilled Welder to join their team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG welding and be able to work cooperatively with others in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- MIG Welding experience
- Prior experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical schooling
- Flux Core welding experience
- Grinding tools, drill presses, and ironwork proficiency
- Basic oral communication skills
- Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
- Ability to complete basic logs and reports in English
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and position heavy components
- Ability to work scheduled hours and adhere to company timekeeping and all other policies
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of the shift in a non-climate-controlled environment
