CNC MACHINIST III (2nd Shift)

The CNC Machinist III will be responsible for set up and operations of CNC Mill and Lathe machines used in Manufacturing and Fabrication of aircraft/military components.

Requirements

• Strong focus on SAFETY FIRST.
• Able to use the latest technology in 5 axis with focus on “Lights out machining” (Probing / Break detection,...)
• Knowledge of fixturing and tooling design.
• Editing in MDI, preferred with Mazak, Okuma,Fanuc, Siemens controllers.
• Set-up tools and prove out CNC programs as needed.
• Strong comunication skills, wear PPE at all times.
• Utilize ERP system to accurately record labor hours and production quantity.
• Suggests recommendations to Leads/Supervisor concerning process improvements.
• Perform standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, speeds and feeds of machining.
• Understanding of lean, Kaizen and 6S concepts.
• Performs routine daily maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Can do attitude, continuous improvement.
