TEACHER ASSISTANT

Teacher Assistant is responsible for providing instruction and instructional support to students, under the direction of the Teacher. Must have NYS Teacher Assistant certification.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• NYS Teacher Assistant Certification or working towards the certification and have passed the NYS Assessment of Teaching Assistant Test (NYSATAS)
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• 1+ years of experience working with youth in an educational or residential program (preferred)
