Job Description
MASS MoCA is seeking a temporary hourly fabricator/fabricator for their seasonal position (September - December 2025). The role involves assembling large-scale art installations, working with artists, and maintaining a safe work environment. It's a team-oriented position with flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- Art handling, including unloading and loading trucks, packing and unpacking fine art works.
- Construction and manual labor, including light demolition, moving large objects with material handling equipment.
- Custom fabrication based on skill and experience, ranging from woodworking to metalworking.
- Maintaining a positive rapport with colleagues and artists.
