Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) seeks a dynamic and strategic Director of Individual Giving to lead the college's efforts in securing major gifts from individual donors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of experience in fundraising or resource development.
- Demonstrated experience in managing high-capacity donor portfolios and consistently securing five- and six-figure gifts.
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience crafting compelling donor proposals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Supervisory experience as a leader of fundraising teams.
- Knowledge of higher education and/or arts and culture fundraising.
- Proficiency in CRM fundraising software (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce) and donor analytics.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making and using analytics to inform strategy.
- A deep appreciation for and ability to articulate and align with the educational mission and aspirations of Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
