MasTec Civil is hiring a seasoned Construction Project Manager near Jacksonville, FL. The Project Manager oversees the construction process, ensuring it's performed according to specification, schedule, and budget. The role requires leadership, common sense, training, loyalty, patience, and ability to work with others. The Project Manager must follow company policies and procedures, ensuring project compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the heavy construction industry with project values between $5 - $30M.
- Must have bridge, roadwork, and DOT experience.
- PMP Certification preferred
- Knowledge of construction means, and methods associated with the heavy construction industry
- Strong team leadership project management skills
- Ability to direct the work of subcontractors in order to achieve project goals
- Computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook, Project scheduling - P-3 at minimum
- Ability to maintain onsite project documentation
- Ability to schedule and coordinate all site work
- Must be well organized and detail oriented
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple sites
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with people on all levels ensuring that all external and internal communication is carried out to a high standard
