Job Description
Responsible for providing high quality program-based case management services to families assigned to a homeless shelter, developing goals, and providing structure, direction, and service linkage for participants to assist them in transitioning from shelter to permanent housing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 2 years' experience working with persons who are homeless, at-risk for homelessness or those with a low socioeconomic status
- Associate's Degree with at least 4 years' experience working with persons who are homeless, at-risk for homelessness or those with a low socioeconomic status
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, weekends, and evenings
- Knowledge of and respect for confidentiality
- Empathy to support vulnerable populations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Administrative organization
- Computer literacy
