The Assistant Principal of Post-Secondary Programs manages the development and delivery of communications, services, programs, and tools to equip students and families to successfully navigate the path from high school to college or career.
Requirements
- Manage the post-secondary team towards meeting all program specific goals
- Track data aligned to post-secondary success
- Ensure all students are meeting graduation requirements
- Lead family engagement strategy
- Collaborate with APSS to ensure all students with IEPs have appropriate and aligned transition plans
- Coordinate and track alumni supports for recent graduates
- Serve as the testing coordinator for all post-secondary assessments
- Coordinate and project manage exposure experiences
- Manage PA Career Ready Standards work for grades 6-11
- Provide instructional coaching for high quality implementation of all seminar course curricula
- Lead professional development to build and evolve the multiple pathways strategy
- Maintain consistent feedback loop with NST Postsecondary team
