Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health, the Clinician provides screening, consultation, behavioral intervention, referrals, and short-term counseling to patients within an integrated medical and behavioral health setting.
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Alaska.
- Two years of experience providing direct counseling services.
- Ability to work effectively with patients who have conditions that necessitate life-style changes.
- Ability to work through brief patient contacts, including via telephone.
- Ability to work effectively as a team, interfacing with patients, primary care providers, other behavioral health providers, as well as administrative and support staff.
- First Aid and CPR certifications must be obtained within 2 weeks of hire.
