FQHC Clinician

The Clinician position is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing integrated medical, dental, and behavioral health care. The Clinician will provide screening, consultation, behavioral intervention, referrals, and short-term counseling to patients within an integrated medical and behavioral health setting.

Requirements

• LCSW in the State of Alaska
• Two years of experience providing direct counseling services
• Ability to work effectively with patients who have conditions that necessitate life style changes
• High level of comfort in working with primary care medical providers using a consultative style
• Knowledge of DSM IVtr and DSM 5, ASAM criteria
• Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatment for behavioral health conditions
